About the Memorial

The Onukogu Heritage Memorial is dedicated to Onukogu, a revered figure whose life and deeds laid a powerful foundation for the generations that followed. From the roots of Achi, the founding father of Ebe Asaa, down to Dioka, Dim, Okeh, Mgbam, Amadi, and Onukogu, our ancestry tells a story of warriors, healers, leaders, and protectors.

This project combines historical research with modern technology to ensure that no name remains faceless and no story is forgotten. Where images were lost, we have recreated them with care to preserve the dignity of our ancestors.
